Tidewood Console
Reclaimed teak, hand-inlaid brass. One piece.
Koh Samui & Koh Phangan · By Nuengruethai "Air" Sriwiset
A single-designer studio for custom furniture, interiors, and full projects, made by local hands with local materials, in ideas you won't find anywhere else on the island.
Not for everyone
Samui already has plenty of rattan lamps and teak tables, most coming from the same three warehouses. Esrah is for the client who has seen that catalogue and wants none of it: "a project imagined, drawn, and finished by one uncompromising eye, made by local craftspeople with local materials, that arrives at something the island hasn't seen before."

Prices shown in USD and THB at an indicative rate; final invoicing is in Thai Baht. Every piece is unique — once sold, it will not be remade identically. Exact dimensions and material specifications for each piece are available on request — message Air before purchasing if you'd like full measurements.
On commission
Already have an idea, a rendering, a photo, a sketch of something you've never found on the island? Air will take it, study your space, and shape it into a buildable concept made just for that room. Not sure what you want yet? Just as often, Air visits the space herself, reads your taste, and proposes a concept built for you from nothing but a conversation. Either way, nothing is made until it's priced, rendered, and approved by you, then produced by the same local makers behind every Esrah piece.
Selected work
A working record — full projects, interiors, and individual furniture pieces delivered across Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.

The designer
Known to every client simply as Air.
Air holds a degree in Interior Design from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Bangkok, and built her language of design across three very different rooms from there — the density and detail of Bangkok, the restraint and craft of Italy, and years of work across other countries in between. Esrah Design & Concepts is where that language finally lands: on Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, translated through local hands and local materials, but never local habits.
She leads every project personally — every consultation, every sketch, every material choice — because the point of a one-designer studio is that nothing passes through a second, softer opinion.
Every project starts the same way — a conversation, not a catalogue.
We do not design for everyone.
We design for the one client
who already knows the difference.
